LOCATION: University of Houston University Center Lower Level/ Underground
This is a small event is FREE to all members/staff/students/anyone else that wants to come. Date has been set, voice actors has been contacted, entertainers are scheduled, and fun has been planned. What we need left is you. Come on out and join us in our attempt to bring the excitement of a little convention feel to the University of Houston main campus.
As a "mini" anime convention, there will be alot of what you will see at those big conventions, in a smaller scale. Items include:
- Voice Actors Q&A with Autographs - These names are confirmed. There are a couple more interested, but not confirmed yet.
- Translators: Brendan Frayne, Sarah Lindholm
- Voice Actors: Chris Ayers, Nancy Novotny, Chris Patton, George Manley, Tiffany Grant
- Artists: Xero Reynolds
- ADV's ADR Director: David Williams
- Panels, panels, panels - Alot of different panels that everyone can enjoy. Such panels include:
- Cell Painting 101, Fan Fiction, Oragami, Cool Otaku, Ampguard, History of ADV, Living In Japan, Houston's anime Convention Panel (with guests from Shiokazecon and O-chibicon, Drawing Anime 101, and many others.
- Special Events - Although we can't afford a concert, we will have a couple of main events like cosplay and such..

RULES - These rules must be followed during Anime No Kon.
PARKING - Will be posted soon. (all day parking available for $3)
MAPs - University Center (565) is in the middle-center of the map. You can purchase the parking passes from the Info Booth(591) for $3. Event map will be available at the event.
